"Il Duca Minimo" Palace
General description
“Il Duca Minimo” is a building belonging to the early twentieth century. The name is the pseudonym used by Gabriele D’Annunzio in his early writings, and we want to honour this great Italian poet born in Pescara in 1863.
The building is located at the crossroads between Via Italica, where the entrance is located, and Viale Marconi that is one of the main streets of Pescara. It connects the city centre to Portanova, the quarter which gave birth to the poet and where it’s possible to visit his house-museum.
Easily accessible both by car and public transport, Il Duca Minimo has three floors, each one served by an internal lift.

Our breakfast and relax rooms
Three rooms, all of them with a kitchen corner, are available to our guests for fresh breakfast or relaxing moments. Here it’s possible to organize small meetings or short training courses, international activities.

Rooms and apartment
Eight rooms, all of them with minimal furnishing, are dedicated to the most important works written by D’Annunzio in his various artistic periods. From “Canto Novo” and “Primo Vere”, poems of the youngest period, the rooms on the second floor are dedicated to some stars of the Pleiades constellation, protagonist of the author’s best-known poetic work. The third level pays homage to D’Annunzio as writer: “the Pleasure” and “the Innocent” are two of the novels belonging to the Rose trilogy, the name given to the last two rooms.
As a response to the varying requests, our customers can even book the entire apartment thanks to the “short-term” formula.
